PDF documents selected in Edit Pdf Locally are processed locally within your browser.

The document content is not intentionally uploaded to our servers or sent to our feedback and usage analytics database.

Your original PDF remains on your device. The application generates the edited document in your browser for you to download.

We recommend avoiding the use of shared or untrusted devices when editing sensitive documents.

3. Information We Collect

We collect a limited amount of information to understand general website usage and improve the application.

A. Feedback Information

When you select Helpful or Not Helpful, your chosen reaction is sent to our Cloudflare Worker and stored in a Cloudflare D1 database.

The reaction record contains the selected reaction and its creation timestamp.

B. Browse Events

When you click the Browse PDF button, a browse event is recorded. This event is used to calculate the aggregate number of Browse clicks.

C. Download Events

When the application initiates a PDF download, a download event is recorded to calculate the aggregate number of downloads initiated through the application.

A recorded download event does not independently confirm that the file was successfully saved or opened.

D. Browser Local Storage

We use browser local storage to remember whether you have already submitted a Helpful or Not Helpful reaction. This helps prevent repeated feedback submissions from the same browser storage.

This preference is stored under the website's own browser storage and is not used as a cross-site advertising identifier.

4. How We Use This Information

The information described above is used to:

• Record voluntary user feedback.
• Display aggregate Helpful and Not Helpful counts.
• Understand how often the Browse PDF action is used.
• Count downloads initiated through the application.
• Improve the usability and reliability of the website.

These statistics represent recorded events, not necessarily the number of unique individuals.

5. Cloudflare Services

Our feedback and usage-event functionality uses Cloudflare Workers and Cloudflare D1 to receive events and store aggregate usage records.

When your browser communicates with these services, Cloudflare may process technical connection information, such as IP addresses, request headers and timestamps, as part of providing and securing its services.

6. Data Retention

Feedback, Browse and Download event records are stored in our database for aggregate usage reporting.

The current application does not implement an automatic deletion schedule for these event records. They may remain stored until they are deleted by the website operator or through database maintenance.

Browser local-storage feedback preferences remain on your device until they are cleared by you or removed through browser storage settings.

7. Cookies and Tracking

The application uses browser local storage for its feedback preference. The current feedback and usage counters are not designed to create cross-site advertising profiles.

Technical cookies or other storage mechanisms may also be used by infrastructure providers where necessary to deliver or secure their services.

8. Sharing Your Website

The Share feature is optional. When you choose to use it, your browser or device may open its native sharing interface, or the website may copy a prepared message and website link to your clipboard.

We do not receive your contact list or the identities of people with whom you choose to share the website through this feature.
